By participating in our Messy Play activities, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read these carefully before attending.

1. Food Allergens and Sensitivities

Our Messy Play activities may involve the use of various materials, including food-based products, non-food materials, and ingredients that could contain allergens or other substances that may cause an adverse reaction. While we make efforts to avoid known allergens, we cannot guarantee that any activity is free from traces of allergens, including but not limited to:

  • Dairy
  • Gluten
  • Nuts (tree nuts, peanuts)
  • Eggs
  • Soy
  • Sesame
  • Shellfish

Artificial colours, flavourings, and preservatives

Please note: Our activities may contain traces of everything.  Even if we do not use certain allergens directly, cross-contamination may occur due to the nature of the activity or preparation methods. You should assume that allergens could be present in any part of the messy play.

2. Parent/Guardian Responsibility

As a parent or guardian, it is your responsibility to inform us in advance if your child has any known allergies, food sensitivities, or health conditions that we should be aware of.

We ask that you provide us with full details of any such conditions before the event so we can take reasonable precautions, though we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.

3. Participation

By allowing your child to participate in our Messy Play event, you accept full responsibility for their participation and for any health-related consequences that may arise due to allergens, sensitivities, or medical conditions. You also acknowledge that messy play can be messy and that your child may become dirty or have clothing affected.

4. Safety and Supervision

Your child will be supervised during the Messy Play, but parents/guardians are ultimately responsible for their child’s safety and well-being during the activity. We recommend bringing appropriate clothing, as the activities may result in stains or dirt. We will provide protective gear where possible, but you are still encouraged to dress your child in old or washable clothing.

5. Waiver and Liability

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the organisers, employees, and volunteers of the Messy Play event from any claims, damages, or injuries resulting from food allergies or any other incident during the event. You understand and acknowledge the potential risks associated with the messy play, including but not limited to allergic reactions, skin irritations, or other unforeseen issues.

6. Photography and Media

By participating, you grant us permission to take photos or videos of your child during the Messy Play event. These images may be used for marketing, promotional, or educational purposes. If you do not wish to have your child photographed, please notify the event organiser prior to the activity.

7. Changes to the Terms

We reserve the right to update and modify these Terms and Conditions as necessary.

Any changes will be communicated to participants and will apply from the date of publication.

By attending our Messy Play event, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
